Our Elixir of Love range is inspired by Donizetti's opera of the same name. Nemorino, the hero, is desperate to the win the love of his beautiful but indifferent employer, Adina. Fortunately, a passing apothecary, Dr. Dulcamara, is able to supply him with a love potion, which wins Adina's heart.

The Elixir of Love range is fragranced with Ylang Ylang oil, which is regarded as one of the most romantic of fragrances. It is distilled from a Malaysian flower releasing an exotic scent, which because of its sedating and stimulating properties, has acquired a reputation as an aphrodisiac.
   
Ylang Ylang oil has been known to aid in stress reduction, and is useful for its calming abilities, particularly if it leads to thoughts of a tropical holiday.

By the way, Nemorino and Adina lived happily ever after.
